Application for Enrollment: International Students

Liaison College welcomes International Students who are looking to study in Canada. If you’re an International Student, applying at Liaison College is easy. Here are the four steps of the application process.

Step 1: Application Form

You need to be accepted by an approved college to apply for a Student Visa in Canada. The first step therefore is to fill out an application for Liaison College. We will review your application and contact you within 3 business days.

You must be 18 or older and complete the IELTS with a General Score of at least 5.5

Step 2: Student VISA/Work VISA

Checklist for a Student/Work Permit
  • Receiving your letter of Acceptance from Liaison College: once all application requirements have been fulfilled you will be issued an official letter of acceptance
  • Registration fee: $2500 CAD and balance to be paid on first day of classes – fees can be paid by valid credit card, bank transfer, or certified payments
  • There are no scholarships or bursaries available to International Students
  • Liaison College fees are the same for Domestic and International Students and are expressed in Canadian Dollars

Step 3: Arranging to live in Canada

Through a partnership with Places4Students Inc., Liaison College offers an online collection of housing opportunities to help students with their off-campus housing search.

Places4Students is an online, real-time database of student housing vacancies near Liaison College. Pictures, property features and contact information regarding available properties are accessible by students, schools and landlords.

Step 4: Arriving in Canada and attending classes

  • You will be contacted prior to starting classes to confirm class times and payment arrangements
  • Classes are held Monday to Friday – 4 hours per day; classes start throughout the year for convenience
  • Work experience – putting your skills to work and achieving Canadian experience can be arranged through the Student Services offices on campus
  • Student Cards are issued on the first day of classes and can be used to obtain discounts on transit and other merchandise
